The loss of a dear one can be devastating. However, while grieving is a natural part of the healing process, it does not have to be harder than it already is.

There are ways to help you go through the mourning process. With the right tools and professional approach, you can overcome the unfortunate, yet inevitablly terrible loss of your loved one.

However, grieving does not come only after we have lost someone close and special to us. Even during the process of hospice care, family members may be overcome with emotions and may need a friendly ear to talk to or a shoulder to lean on.

Beta Hospice offers bereavement counseling services throughout the period when your family member is under our care, as well as to help you cope with their eventual loss. We will be there for you and will stay by your side while you grieve. Our bereavement specialist will help you through the process and provide support in any way possible, as often as you may require.

We understand and appreciate the cultural differences our patients and their families may have. We make every effort to acquaint ourselves with your culture and your approach to grieving so we can offer optimal support to you while you cope with your loss.

Besides our bereavement specialists, Beta Hospice has a team of volunteers who will help connect you with relevant people and resources to make sure you are not left alone. This may include counsellors, psychiatrists, support groups, etc. They may also organize family meetings besides connecting you with people who are going through or have gone through a similar process as you.
